The conference will be held just a couple of miles out of DC in Crystal City. The Crowne Plaza is utilizing sustainable practices in all aspects of their operations with a focus on the areas of Recycling and Conservation. Read more about their efforts to "go green". The hotel does provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Room nights for Friday and Saturday are included with your registration. All attendees are responsible for covering costs for additional hotel amenities such as high-speed internet access and parking, etc.

Having a car is not necessary. Participants may use the free shuttle and public transportation to get to the hotel.

Free shuttle: At the airport you can go to the courtesy phone or Information Desk to call the hotel for a free shuttle pick up (Crowne Plaza Arlington).

Metro: Crystal City is served by the Yellow and Blue lines of the Washington Metro Rail System and the Virginia Railway Express Commuter Train. If you take the Metro from the airport, exit at Crystal City Station. Exit right from the station. The Crowne Plaza will be across the street, 1 block from the station. The Metro to downtown is about $2-3 and takes about 20 minutes. You can purchase a Metro card according to your destination or with a certain amount (like $10) on it to cover a couple of rides to and from the city.
