Welcome to the 2011 USA Ultimate Organizers Convention
Where We are Working Together to Develop the Sport
The National Organizers Convention provides a setting for participants to attend a wide range of presentations delivered by professionals and peers in the community. The convention also enables attendees to meet their peers, collaborate, and share information and management practices. The convention is a two-day event running Saturday and Sunday. It includes an opening social on Friday to kick off the event. Each day will begin with a keynote address and be followed by various speakers. The sessions will be split into two tracks.
We would like to thank WAFC for submitting a bid to help host this event. We will be working closely with the representatives from WAFC to make this one bigger and better than ever!
The convention will enable you to:
• Learn about the growth of the sport and changes taking place within the national governing body (USA Ultimate);
• Gain insight on best practices;
• Interact and network with colleagues from around the world to exchange ideas and advice;
• Increase your knowledge about management issues and their solutions;
• Discuss topics of interest in an open forum with other organizers.
Speakers and Contributors
The success of the event is reliant upon the involvement and contributions of Ultimate organizers. We are looking for organizers than can speak about a particular topic of "expertise" or who would like to manage a forum to discuss ideas of special interest.
