College Promotional Flyer Database

USA Ultimate is collecting informational flyers from college teams to help promote college division opportunities to youth members. The database will be maintained online and will be available in print to participants at the annual Youth Club Championships, a division of the US Open Club Championships, and highest level of youth competition in the U.S.  All submissions will be reviewed and approved by USA Ultimate prior to their inclusion in our database.  All content including team names, logos, bios, etc. must be appropriate for distribution to minors. To be included, flyers must:

  • be no more than one page (8.5"x11");
  • be in PDF format;
  • include college name, team name, city and state, and competition division (i.e., D-I, D-III and conference assignment);
  • include a consistent form of contact (e.g., team email address); and
  • include a brief team history (e.g., major accomplishments, prior regional/national standings, etc.).

Submissions must be received by the end of June, to be included in the database that will be used at the Youth Club Championships in August. Please send all submissions or questions to tom.manewitz@hq.usaultimate.org.

TUFTS Fund

In 2017, a generous alum established the TUFTS Fund to help provide financial stability for Tufts’ Ultimate programs going forward. This exceptional and significant endowment is managed by Tufts University’s financial department, and is in a constant state of growth thanks to donations from alumni, family, and members of the Tufts Ultimate community. The Fund is invested as a part of Tufts University’s larger financial investments, and generates yearly deposits into the operating bank accounts of the E-Men and the E-Wo. Funds are allocated to individuals through a discrete, self-identified, needs-based system. This money can be used to cover individual costs like flights to tournaments, as well as the recipient's portion of shared costs like rental cars and hotel rooms.

Much like a scholarship, this budget serves to bridge the gap for players who are unable to take on the financial burden of playing ultimate at Tufts without support. The goal is to create an environment where the monetary burden of playing college ultimate is not a factor in whether any student is able to participate.
