Jeff Berget runs some of the best tournaments in the country. He does a great job building good relationships with different field personnel, which helps with the business side of things too. Although he seems easy going (I've never actually seen him stressed!) and always has a smile, he is also incredibly detail oriented and a perfectionist. He is thoughtful in his communication, plans ahead, constantly looks for ways to grow, and is incredibly dependable. And he's a really good person. He is such an asset to Altitude! And a great person to work with! |

Pogo (Anne Pogoriler) has created an incredible website and is always takes into consideration our needs and requests. She has put in a TON of time to give us an incredibly beautiful and functional website, while also giving the website the ability to be flexible and grow and change with us. She is also always reminding us to take pictures (which is something I always forget), but will make our events stand out that much more and be that much more memorable. She has also had the brilliant idea to hire a couple high school kids to take over our social media accounts- giving them important professional develop opportunities and gives us a way to reach the youth on their terms :) |

Atlanta Flying Disc Club Juniors

In the last three years, Denise Koo has served a number of volunteer roles: League Commissioner, YCC team manager, Outreach Coordinator, Executive Director mentor, and now Interim Juniors Director for AFDC. She is a behind the scenes problem-solver, who operates in a thoughtful and professional manner. Denise's gifts in recruiting and bridging communities explains her effectiveness in Outreach. She personally delivered dozens of starter kits to area schools, she recruited Ultimate-knowledgeable resources for new programs, and her (hard-won) success in achieving school PE exemptions in the Dekalb County school district has now been disseminated as a model for the entire country. |

Besides completely owning and taking the middle school spring league to the next level in the last three years, Rachel Scales has served tirelessly on the AFDC Juniors Board, bringing both a player's perspective and an organizer's spin to all of our director discussions. Rachel has made the board so much more efficient by slowly introducing new technology to an initially resistant group! Rachel has coached several girls teams this year including a new middle school team, Atlanta's first U17 girls team, and the girls teams in Spring League. Her creativity and desire to fill gaps in the girls division has driven many of our 2018 organizational successes. |
