June 6, 2016:
• Roosevelt (boys) and Nathan Hale (girls) claimed the 2016 High School Western Championships titles this weekend in Corvallis. For Roosevelt, it was their second title in as many years. For Nathan Hale, it was their first regional win since 2009.

• It was the last big weekend of the season for High School State Championships. Several winners were crowned over the weekend, with a couple more to be determined in finals games this week.

• The first-ever USA Ultimate Middle School State Championship took place in Utah this weekend. Lone Peak became the first Middle School State Champions on Saturday in Salt Lake City.
• The World Ultimate and Guts Championships are fast approaching. Athletes from the five teams set to represent the United States will travel to London next week to prepare for the first day of competition on Sunday, June 19.
