January 24, 2017:
• The international field in the 2017 U.S. Open men's division is set: Buzz Bullets (JPN), Clapham Ultimate (UK), Inside Rakete (GER), CUS-B (ITA).
• Friction Gloves is now the Official Glove of the U.S. National Team.
• Two new discs were approved for championship-level play by the Flight Test Pool, bringing the total number of approved brands to five and total number of discs to 10.
• The 2016 U.S. Mixed National Team is still alive in the International World Games Association's Athlete or Team of the Year Award voting, but they are far from the lead right now. Keep your votes coming!

• The second weekend of the 2017 college season saw four tournaments crown champions. Keep up with the season and event results at usaultimate.org/college.
• Applications are still open for Beach Westerns and the Beach Championships. Get your team to the beach!
