After a brief hiatus, USA Ultimate Weekly is back with highlights of some of the amazing things that have happened in the world of ultimate over the last six weeks!
• #LiveUltimate
• The U.S. is the World Games champion once again! The U.S. National Team brought home gold from the most prestigious competition in ultimate, defeating Colombia in the gold-medal game.
Take a quick trip back to mid-July to catch up with everything that happened in Poland with photo galleries, recaps and videos of your U.S. National Team at nationalteam.usaultimate.org.
• Check out the awesome athletes named to the 2018 U-24 National Teams. They will represent the U.S. at the World Under-24 Ultimate Championships in Perth, Australia next January.
• Assistant coaches for the 2018 U-20 National Teams were announced earlier this month. Check out who will help lead the U.S. teams at the World Junior Ultimate Championships next year.
• The first-ever U.S. Open Club Championships - combining the adult club divisions from the U.S. Open and the youth divisions from the Youth Club Championships - were held in Blaine, Minn., last week. It was a huge event with tons of great competition and amazing community.
AND - ultimate was live on ESPN2 for the first time ever!

• The application deadline for our new Youth Club Regional Championships is fast approaching. Make sure to get your applications in ASAP!
• Applications for the new fall college mixed regional events will open soon. Check out more details about the events and keep an eye out for the application!
