Welcome to USA Ultimate Weekly, where we'll provide you with brief, weekly updates on happenings at USA Ultimate!
April 4, 2016:
- Help the U.S. National Teams on their journeys to the World Ultimate and Guts Championships in London and the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Poland! Plus, get some cool swag as a thank you.
- The mixed and women's WUGC national teams had their first practices together last weekend in the Bay Area. Countdown to London: 74 days. #oosa
- Last week, with North Carolina set to host next month's D-I and D-III College Championships, USA Ultimate released a statement regarding House Bill 2 which was recently passed by the state legislature.
- The top teams in both D-I and D-III held their spots in the fourth iteration of this year's college rankings, released last Wednesday.
A preliminary set of final rankings will be released mid week. Teams will have 24 hours after they are released to locate and notify us of any inaccuracies in scores or removed games.
We hope to release the final edition of this year's rankings, with final bid allocations for regionals and the College Championships, late Thursday evening.
- The 2016 college regular season is officially in the books. The season's final 18 events took place around the country last weekend. Check out results of all the regular season's events at usaultimate.org/college.
- Logos for the the D-I and D-III College Championships have been posted:
- USA Ultimate recently launched the ACE Program, which will help recognize and incentivize growth and sustainability of college ultimate programs based on team development and alignment with the three Cs of USA Ultimate’s mission: Character, Community and Competition.
- Competition fields for this year's 2016 Triple Crown Tour events are starting to come together. Check out the mixed field for the U.S. Open and the women's fields for the Pro-Elite Challenge and Pro Flight Finale.
