April 18, 2016:
- Week one of the 2016 college postseason is in the books. Ninety of the 103 conference championship events took place last weekend. Check out results and the see who has qualified for regionals so far.
Eight teams also earned spots at the D-III College Championships over the weekend:
Men: Claremont
Women: Elon, Valparaiso, St. Olaf, Carleton College-Eclipse, Luther, Georgia College, Claremont
- The 100+ teams invited to compete at this year's High School Regional Championships were announced last week.
- The first 2016 high school state championship is set to take place this weekend. Georgia kicks things off with their Division I and Division II boys' championships.
- Thanks to their successful Kickstarter campaign, the World Flying Disc Federation was able to reach a deal with CBS Sports to air the World Ultimate and Guts Championships mixed finals and portions of the men's and women's finals, plus other game footage.
- The 2017 World Championships of Beach Ultimate will take place June 18-24, in Royan, France.
- Nominations for the 2016 Callahan Award are now open. Get your team's nomination in by April 29.
- The men's division competition field for the 2016 Pro Flight Finale is set.
- The bid window for Southeast Men's Masters Regionals has been extended until Friday, April 22, as USA Ultimate searches for options outside the two bids received thus far, both from locations in North Carolina.
- Last month's STAR Program webinars, designed specifically for Dev, D-III and women's division college teams, are now available on USA Ultimate's YouTube channel.
