USA Ultimate Statement on Possible Ebola Case in Frisco

Boulder, Colo. (Oct. 8, 2014) – As you may have heard reported today by local authorities, an individual in Frisco, Texas, has exhibited possible symptoms of Ebola. USA Ultimate does not expect its national championships, scheduled to take place in Frisco next week, to be affected by this latest development. With the health and safety of our members and the ultimate community as our top priority, USA Ultimate is closely monitoring the situation and will follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other local, county, state and federal health agencies who are currently exercising an overabundance of caution and reporting this as a low-risk incident.
