USA Ultimate Announces Dates and Location of 2015 Masters Championships

Boulder, Colo. (Nov. 14, 2014) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, announced today the dates and location of the 2015 Masters Championships.
The 2015 Masters Championships will take place at the Aurora Sports Complex in Aurora, Colo., from July 24-26. The event will be hosted by Colorado Youth Ultimate and Visit Aurora. Sixteen teams in each of the men’s masters, women’s masters and grandmasters divisions will compete for national titles in 2015.
"Colorado Youth Ultimate is excited to partner with Visit Aurora in hosting the 2015 USA Ultimate Masters Championships," said tournament director Jeff Berget. "We are looking forward to providing the athletes with the great facilities at Aurora Sports Park as well as making it a great event for athletes and spectators alike. We are proud to reach out to the ultimate community on a national level and also to provide opportunities for the rapidly growing youth ultimate scene here in Colorado to see high-level ultimate in their own backyard."

The 2014 Masters Championships were held in Sarasota, Fla., the long-time home of the USA Ultimate Club Championships. The event was last held in Colorado in 2013 when teams competed at Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. The first Masters Championships were held in 1991 in Sanford, Fla.
