Aug. 24, 2016 (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States and proud member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, released today the final bid allocations from the Triple Crown Tour’s regional championship events to the 2016 National Championships

The final rankings of the 2016 Triple Crown Tour season were published today. Boston Ironside, Philadelphia AMP and Seattle Riot finished the regular season in the top spots for their respective divisions: men’s, mixed and women’s. This year marks the first regular-season title for Seattle Riot. Boston Ironside last finished atop the regular-season rankings in 2012 (the first year of an official club regular season), and Philadelphia AMP last earned the distinction in 2013.

With no team having won both the U.S. Open Championships and the Pro Flight Finale, there will be no Triple Crown winner in 2016. San Francisco Revolver is the only team to have won the Triple Crown, a feat they have accomplished twice, first in 2013 and again last year.

The regional bid allocation for the 2016 National Championships, set to be held Sept. 29-Oct. 2, in Rockford, Ill., is below.
