To all of the dedicated people who made the 2010 USA Ultimate College Championships a smashing success,
We just completed our inaugural USA Ultimate College Championships, and the event went extremely well. Across the board athletes, teams and coaches expressed their appreciation for the organization and experience in Madison. This is quite simply because the local organizing committee and incredible group of volunteers were nothing short of extraordinary. Certainly a new standard has been established for other LOCs bidding to host this event in the future, as the Madison team was superb!
Everyone at USA Ultimate would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to Kate Arnold, Chris "Bus" Olig, MUFA, Reddan Soccer complex, Middleton High School and the truly amazing crew of volunteers. Every component of the event we asked for help with was executed with precision and professionalism from lining the fields, water delivery, garbage pickup, concessions, parking, and the list goes on and on! It is impossible to put into words the amount of teamwork and effort we all witnessed throughout the event. As I personally expressed to Kate and Bus Monday evening, the organization and execution were definitely at the "Olympic level" and we were all not only very impressed, but sincerely grateful.
Madison…you were fabulous and USA Ultimate thanks you with all our heart for an excellent Ultimate experience! Madison was the perfect place to launch USA Ultimate and our new website. From the Board and staff, as well as the hundreds of athletes and 40 teams and coaches…..THANK YOU!!
