The Ultimate Foundation Loves Youth (UFLY) Challenge is an annual fundraiser that helps girls and boys soar to new heights though lessons learned in ultimate.
Next weekend, Aug. 7-9 in Blaine, Minn., some of the nation’s top young athletes will take the field in search of a national title at the USA Ultimate Youth Club Championships. Seventy-two teams and nearly 1,500 competitors will participate in the largest edition of the tournament to date.

In conjunction with the event, the USA Ultimate Foundation is conducting a fundraiser in support of many important youth and grassroots development programs. The UFLY Challenge gives the ultimate community the opportunity to support their favorite YCC team and raise money for a good cause – all while helping the team of their choice win a grand prize valued at $6,000, or additional prizes from Savage and USA Ultimate totaling more than $10,000.
The USA Ultimate Foundation supports several important initiatives, including the Girls’ Ultimate Movement (GUM) and Play it Forward – two unique programs that introduce and deliver ultimate and the Spirit of the Game philosophy to young girls and disadvantaged youth. The foundation also helps fund the creation of a national infrastructure of local ultimate communities to grow the sport of ultimate, as well as U.S. National Teams and general programs that support gender equity and Spirit of the Game.
Taking part in the first-annual UFLY Challenge is easy! Just follow these simple steps and support your favorite YCC team while contributing to a great cause!

Visit the UFLY Challenge website and select the team (or teams) you would like to support.

Pledge a pre-determined amount for every point your team scores during the tournament. ($0.50, $1, $5, $10, $20, $50).
OR
Pledge any other amount you choose.

All pledges count towards a team’s total money raised.
|
| 4. |
|
At the end of the tournament, the team that raised the most money for the foundation will receive the Grand Prize, with additional prizes going to the runner-up and remaining division leaders.
