Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 11, 2017) - USA Ultimate announced today that Spin will serve as the official merchandise partner for the newly combined U.S. Open and Youth Club Championships, Aug. 4-7, at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. Spin will offer officially licensed apparel and event merchandise to all participating athletes and fans attending the four-day event.
The 2017 edition takes the U.S. Open – an elite-level, international tournament (previously held over the Fourth of July weekend) – and brings it to the Twin Cities, home of USA Ultimate’s Youth Club Championships. All totaled, approximately 135 teams will compete in the tournament, with the U.S. Open occurring Aug. 4-6, and the Youth Club Championships taking place Aug. 5-7.
Spin previously served as the official merchandise supplier of the 2013 U.S. Open and 2014 Youth Club Championships.
