Gorman Hired as Manager of Membership & Sport Development

Boulder, Colo. (May 16, 2013) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, announced today the hiring of a new team member in the Membership & Sport Development department. 
 
Ryan Gorman was named the new Manager of Membership and Sport Development and will work to support the department and achieve the membership recruitment, engagement and retention goals of USA Ultimate. He will engage with current members and encourage the recruitment and growth of the USA Ultimate membership while maintaining responsibility for many other duties in support of the organization.
 
Gorman began playing ultimate at Notre Dame University in 2005 where he also served as the team’s treasurer. More recently, he has captained and played for Steamboat, a mixed club team out of Cincinnati, Ohio and has served as a regional coordinator for the USA Ultimate Championship Series. He is also a youth ultimate coach at Cincinnati’s St. Xavier High School as well as a member of the Cincinnati Ultimate Players Association Board of Directors.

Gorman holds degrees in Finance and Mathematics from Notre Dame and has accumulated several years of data management experience working as an Accounting Analyst and a Project and Investment Analyst with Affordable Language Services, LLC and Lenox Wealth Management in Cincinnati.
