Official 2017 Board of Directors Results: Ball, Brauer Win

Colorado Springs, Colo. (November 7, 2016) - Official results of the 2017 USA Ultimate Board of Directors election have been confirmed.
Incumbent and current board president DeAnna Ball was re-elected to a new three-year term, which begins on January 1, 2017.
Ball earned the lone At-Large seat with 499 votes, beating out opponents Mandy Eckhoff (155) and Harvey Edwards (92).
In the Elite Athlete election, Heather Ann Brauer received 240 votes to defeat Jacob Luria (Goldstein) who received 83 votes.
Brauer begins her three-year term on January 1, 2017 and replaces outgoing elite athlete Brian Garcia.
