Location Set For 2013 Masters Championships

Boulder, Colo. — USA Ultimate, the National Governing Body for the Sport of Ultimate in the United States, announced today the date and location for the 2013 Masters Championships. The 2013 Masters Championships will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park outside Denver, Colorado on July 26-28.
Competition will be held for the Masters Men’s, Masters Women’s, & Grand Masters divisions. Will Deaver, USA Ultimate Managing Director of Competition & Athlete Programs, said, "USA Ultimate is excited to bring another championship event back to the beautiful state of Colorado and the world class Dick’s Sporting Goods athletic facility. We look forward to bringing the Masters community together with this inaugural event, where players and teams from around the country can look forward to an amazing experience both on and off the field."
If you have questions about the requirements or eligibility for the event, please refer to the 2013 guidelines which will be available on January 31st.
There will be a maximum of 16 teams competing in each division at the event. There will be regional qualifying tournaments for the Masters Men's division. Qualifiers for the Masters Women's and Grand Masters division will depend on the number of teams expressing interest in those division.
