Location set for 2012 HS Northeasterns (Devens, MA)

Boulder, Colo. — USA Ultimate, the National Governing Body for the Sport of Ultimate in the United States, announced today the date and location for the 2012 HS Northeastern Regional Championships.  
 
After seven years of Easterns/Westerns, 2012 marks the first year of expansion into four separate HS Regional championships: Centrals, Northeasterns, Southerns, and Westerns.

This event will be hosted by the Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance.  Said event TD Jonathan Levy, "HS Ultimate has experienced explosive growth in Massachusetts in the past five years. We are proud to be the inaugural host state for the Northeastern Championship.  The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance (BUDA) is excited to work with USA Ultimate to bring the 2012 Northeastern HS Championship to Massachusetts.  The field site is one of the best options in the Commonwealth and May is a terrific time to visit Massachusetts.  We look forward to share our state with you and are confident in having elite level youth ultimate in Massachusetts at this tournament."
 
Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance president Geoff Doerre added, "BUDA has been a consistent and strong supporter of youth Ultimate in our area. Hosting the Northeastern Championship is a natural outgrowth of our mission. We are honored to have been selected."
