Krajec Hired as Manager - Competition & Athlete Programs - College

Boulder, Colo. (November 25, 2013) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, announced today the hiring of a new team member in the Competition & Athlete Programs department.
Tyler Krajec was named the new Manager of Competition and Athlete Programs – College and will oversee USA Ultimate’s college division programs, as well as other programs throughout the year. He will assist in the management of events, including event direction/management, registration and processing, event communication and support of personnel and relevant committees.

Krajec played ultimate at the University of Georgia as both an undergraduate and a graduate student while earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management and a master’s degree in kinesiology: sports management and policy. Professionally, he has held internships with the University of Georgia Club Sports Department and Core Soccer. He has also worked as a program director for the Boy Scouts of America and as a claims case manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Krajec’s background in sports management and years working with and managing volunteers will immediately be drawn upon as he begins managing USA Ultimate’s college division this year. He also has extensive experience organizing and implementing various large-scale events and programs for the Boys Scouts of America as well as having volunteered at several prominent events hosted in his area.
Krajec will join the USA Ultimate headquarters team in Boulder in early December, after relocating from Lawrenceville, Ga.
