Boulder, Colo. (May 25, 2010)--Earlier this month, USA Ultimate hosted the 2010 Eastern and Western High School Championships, crowning national champions in both open and girls divisions on opposite coasts.
At the Western High School Championships in Seattle, May 8-9, the Northwest School claimed its second title in three years by holding off Cathedral High School (St. Cloud, Minn.) in the girls division, while South Eugene beat the Northwest School for the open division crown.
The following weekend in Buffalo, N.Y., the Eastern High School Championships took place as Amherst Regional High School swept both titles, winning both the girls and open divisions in convincing fashion over YHB and Needham High School respectively.
