Five Ultimate Named Official National Team Merchandiser

FIVE ULTIMATE NAMED OFFICIAL APPAREL PROVIDER FOR 2013 US NATIONAL TEAMS
Boulder, Colo. (March 6, 2013) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of Ultimate, announced today a partnership with Five Ultimate as the official apparel provider for the U.S. National Teams that will represent America at the 2013 World Games and U23 World Ultimate Championships.
Five Ultimate will outfit the U.S. National Teams with dynamic and professional uniforms, warm-ups, and associated gear that fulfills all uniform requirements set out by the International World Games Association and the World Flying Disc Federation.
"Five Ultimate’s commitment to the U.S. National Ultimate Team and USA Ultimate raises the bar for the level of support given to our athletes. We’re both excited and grateful that Five has stepped up in a big way to provide our teams with quality apparel that will be worn proudly when representing the United States at both the U23 World Championships and the World Games this summer," said Andy Lee, USA Ultimate’s Director of Marketing & Communications.
Founded in Seattle in 2006, Five Ultimate has grown from a small, family-run business to one of Ultimate’s most well-known gear providers. Over the course of the last seven years, they have outfitted many of the world’s best teams, including 2012 National Champions Doublewide (Men’s) and Blackbird (Mixed).

The World Flying Disc Federation’s World Under-23 Ultimate Championships will take place July 22-28, 2013, in Toronto, Canada.
The 2013 World Games will be held July 28-30, 2013, in Cali, Colombia. The World Games are held every four years and are recognized by the International Olympic Committee. The United States won gold at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan after defeating Japan 13-6 in the finals.
Five Ultimate is also USA Ultimate’s official merchandise partner for the 2013 Northeastern and Western Regional High School Championships and the Division I and Division III College Championships.
