Boulder, Colo. (June 10, 2011)--USA Ultimate announced today the departure of Meredith Tosta, Director of Education and Training, from the organization.

For the last 4 ½ years, Tosta led USA Ultimate’s youth outreach and coaching education programs, and managed all U.S. National Teams.

"Working at USAU has given me incredible opportunities to follow my passion, see projects through from start to finish and be a part of the larger community of Ultimate players both in the U.S. and around the world. I couldn't have asked for a better team of co-workers, who work endless hours putting their hearts into all that they do. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at USA Ultimate.”

Tosta will continue in her position with USA Ultimate until July 15 and will be involved in ongoing projects and programs throughout the next several weeks.

“Under Meredith’s direction, the progress made in the areas of youth development and coaching has been profound,” commented CEO of USA Ultimate Tom Crawford. “Throughout her tenure, she’s designed and implemented many programs which will serve as the foundation of continued growth for our organization. We are looking forward to immediately beginning the process to fill the void left by Meredith’s departure and welcoming a new teammate to the organization. She leaves us with some big shoes to fill, but we’re confident we’ll find the right candidate to build upon the great work Meredith has started.”

After July 15, all program inquiries should be directed to Baker Pratt, Education and Youth Programs Manager (baker@hq.usaultimate.org) or Will Deaver, Managing Director of Competition and Athlete Programs (will@hq.usaultimate.org).
