Colorado Springs, Colo. (November 1, 2016)—Tentative dates for premier 2017 Triple Crown Tour events were revealed by USA Ultimate today.

The 2017 Triple Crown Tour regular season begins June 3-4 as USA Ultimate-sanctioned club division tournaments kick off the opportunity for teams to begin accumulating results that count towards their regular season ranking.

The first premier event – the Pro-Elite Challenge – will occur on either July 8-9 or July 15-16.

The Select Flight Invite will take place July 29-30.

In a major departure from its traditional Fourth of July timing, the U.S. Open Ultimate Championships (previously a four-day event), will occur over three days – August 4-6 – at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn.

The Elite-Select Challenge is scheduled for August 19-20.

The Pro Flight Finale expands to a three-day tournament and will take place over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-4.

The Triple Crown Tour Postseason Championship Series starts with sectionals, Sept. 9-10, and is followed by regionals, Sept. 23-24.

The National Championships will be Oct. 12-15 or Oct. 19-22.

With the exception of the U.S. Open, bids are currently being accepted for all events. For more information, contact events@usaultimate.org, or download a bid application
