D-III College Championships return to Appleton, WI

Boulder, Colo. — USA Ultimate, the National Governing Body for the Sport of Ultimate in the United States, announced today the 2012 USA Ultimate D-III College Championships will take place May 19-20 at the USA Youth Sports Complex in Appleton, WI.
The event will be hosted by the Milwaukee Ultimate Club. "The city of Appleton along with the Milwaukee Ultimate Club are very appreciative that USAU has chosen the USA Youth Sports Complex to host this championship event once again", said event TD Scott Sawinski. "We look forward to building on the success of the inaugural event in 2010 and providing the finest facilities to ultimate players at a championship level."
The D-III College Championships feature the top small school teams (<7500 students), with teams from all over the country qualifying based on regular season and series finish. The event is in its third year of existence as a USA Ultimate championship, with Appleton having hosted the first D-III championship in 2010.
