Beach Championships Return to Virginia Beach in 2019

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Jan. 22, 2019) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, announced today the dates and location of the fifth annual Beach Championships.
The Beach Championships will return to their perennial home in Virginia Beach, Va., this spring. The event will be held in Virginia Beach for the fifth consecutive year and be contested May 11-12, 2019. Once again, the Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and Resort Management, LLC. will serve as the local organizing committee for the Beach Championships.

"We will ensure that our wide, clean beaches, beautiful Atlantic Ocean and countless hotels, restaurants and attractions stand ready to make the 2019 USA Beach Ultimate Championship a success. During the initial phase, applications will be accepted for teams in eight divisions: men’s, mixed, women’s, men’s masters, mixed masters, women’s masters, men’s grand masters and men’s great grand masters. Divisions with interest from at least six teams at the close of phase one applications will be contested at the 2019 Beach Championships.
