Application Period for 2011 USA Ultimate Regional HS Championships, YCC Now Open

Boulder, Colo. (February 17, 2011)—USA Ultimate announced today that the application period for the 2011 USA Ultimate Regional High School Championships and Youth Club Championships is now open.
The Western & Eastern High School Championships are the premier USA Ultimate high school regional events, where each season the best teams from around the country gather to crown a champion. This year’s Western Championships are scheduled for May 14-15 in Corvallis, Ore., while the Eastern Championships are set for the following weekend, May 21-22 in Philadelphia, Pa.
The deadline to apply for participation in the
Eastern or
Western Championships is
Friday, March 25.

Following the pair of spring events, USA Ultimate will again host its seventh-annual Youth Club Championships, August 13-14 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. In addition to the usual U-19 Girls, Mixed and Open divisions, USA Ultimate will introduce a new U-16 category in 2011, expanding the playing opportunities for youth Ultimate players and teams around the country.
The first phase of the application period to participate in the 2011 Youth Club Championships runs through Friday, March 4.
