AB Pro Sports Partners With USA Ultimate as Official Apparel Provider

Custom Athletic Apparel Maker Supports Team Spirit Awards at 2013 U.S. Open
SAN DIEGO (July 1, 2013) - AB Pro Sports, the maker of custom-designed athletic apparel and custom jerseys for club sports programs, fitness professionals and endurance athletes, is proud to announce their partnership with USA Ultimate. USA Ultimate, a not-for-profit, is the national governing body for the sport of Ultimate in the U.S. and the largest membership organization in the word devoted to Ultimate.
Ultimate is one of the fastest growing team sports within the U.S. with more then 908,000 people participating 25+ times/year. According to the Sporting Goods Manufacturer Association, more people play Ultimate then play Rugby and Field Hockey combined.
AB Pro Sports will create custom designed attire to be worn by USA Ultimate throughout the 2013 Ultimate tournament season. AB Pro and USA Ultimate are coming up with a full line of custom items including jackets, outerwear, tech-shirts, polos, and backpacks and duffle bags.
In addition, AB Pro is also being recognized as the presenting sponsor of the Team "Spirit of the Game" awards at the 2013 U.S. Open Ultimate Championships, July 4-7 in Raleigh, N.C.. The award is given to the team in each division that best represents the basic philosophy that respect and honor between competitors make it possible for control of the game be in the players’ hands. Players are responsible for making their own rule calls.

ABOUT USA ULTIMATE
Ultimate was developed in 1968 by a group of students at Columbia H.S. in Maplewood, NJ. Combining the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football, a game of Ultimate is played by two teams with a flying disc or Frisbee™ on a field with end zones, similar to football. The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent’s end zone. A player must stop running while in possession of the disc, but may pivot and pass to any of the other receivers on the field.
