2019 Masters Championships Dates, Location Announced

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Jan. 7, 2019) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States and member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, announced today the dates and location of the 2019 Masters Championships, as well as the dates of this year’s regional championship events.
The 2019 Masters Championships will be held at the Aurora Sports Complex in Aurora, Colo., just outside of Denver, July 19-21, 2019. Colorado Ultimate and Visit Aurora will serve as the local organizing committee (LOC) for the event. Colorado Ultimate has served as the LOC for many previous USA Ultimate events, including the Masters Championships in 2016 and 2017.
"We are excited to once again host the USA Ultimate Masters Championships here in Aurora, Colo.," said Jeff Berget, Colorado Ultimate events manager. "We had a blast hosting all of the nationals teams here in past years. We have hosted a number of successful USA Ultimate events at the Aurora Sports Park, and we are looking forward to hosting this championship event and welcoming some of the best players in the world to Aurora and the State of Colorado!"

"We look forward to welcoming hundreds of USA Ultimate athletes and their family and friends to the City of Aurora, and hosting championship level play at the Aurora Sports Park."
The 2019 Masters Championships will play host to teams in six divisions: men’s masters, mixed masters, women’s masters, men’s grand masters, women’s grand masters and men’s great grand masters. With its extensive competition opportunities, the event is USA Ultimate’s second largest annual championship event.
Teams qualify for the Masters Championships through regional championship events, which will be held on one of three weekends in June: June 8-9, June 15-16, or June 22-23. Full division guidelines will be released next month.
