2015 Triple Crown Tour Pro and Elite Flights Decided at 2014 National Championships
Boulder, Colo. (Oct. 24, 2014) – With the conclusion of the
2014 USA Ultimate National Championships and this year’s club season, competing teams solidified their spots in next year’s
Triple Crown Tour (TCT) Flights. Teams in the various flights – Pro, Elite, Select and Classic – earned the right to compete at the TCT’s flight-specific events, which guarantee at-level competition for all teams: U.S. Open Championships, Pro-Elite Challenge, Elite-Select Challenge. The flight-level events also offer crossover opportunities between the flights to ensure teams the chance to face competition from the flights above and below their own.
The Pro Flight is comprised of the top eight finishers at the National Championships in each division. The eighth- to 16th-place finishers at Nationals earn the right to compete in the Elite Flight.
2015 TCT Pro Flight
The Pro Flight is for the top eight finishers at Nationals. The top four from the Pro Flight are invited to the 2015 U.S. Open and the Pro Flight Finale. The bottom four from the Pro Flight are invited to the 2015 TCT Pro-Elite Challenge and the Pro Flight Finale.
