2014 World Junior Ultimate Championships - Day Two

Lecco, Italy (July 22, 2014) - After two days of play at the 2014 World Junior Ultimate Championships, the United States National Teams are a combined 8-0, with a point differential of +113.
The U-19 Women’s team recorded two more big wins on day two. They notched a 17-4 victory over France in round one before taking down Japan 17-1 in round three of the day. The girls concluded pool play on Tuesday and will continue into power pools tomorrow. Their first game is at 11:30am local time against a still to-be-determined opponent. They will have a second game tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm.
The U-19 Open team took on Spain and Switzerland on day two in Lecco. The United States defeated Spain 17-1 and Switzerland 17-6. Up next for the open team is the final round of pool play, tomorrow morning at 9:30am local time against second-seeded and also still-undefeated Austria. Their second game will be at 5:30 tomorrow afternoon with the opponent to be determined based on the results of the match up against Austria.
