2014 World Junior Ultimate Championships - Day Three

Lecco, Italy (July 22, 2014) - After three days of play at WJUC 2014, the U.S. National Teams are a combined 12-0, with a point differential of +152.

The U-19 girls' team won both of their power pool matches today, and will face Austria at 9:30am local time to close out power pools, then play their quarterfinal match in the afternoon.

 United States 17 - 5  Germany
 United States 17 - 3  Finland

The U-19 open team finished out pool play against (4-0) Austria, giving them the top spot in pool A.  In the afternoon they faced pool C winner, Canada, but the game was halted at 9-6 due to lightning storms.  After the TRG met, they declared that game cancelled, with the result to stand at a 9-6 game.  Tomorrow they will play their quarterfinal match in the evening.
