2014 World Junior Ultimate Championships - Day Five

Lecco, Italy (July 25, 2014) - After five days of play at WJUC 2014, the U.S. National Teams are a combined 17-0 and are on their way to the gold-medal round.
Girls' Team
The U-19 girls' team defeated Russia in the quarterfinal round 17-2 before besting Colombia 17-4 in the semfinals, in what was a rematch of the 2012 WJUC gold-medal game. They will face Canada in the finals tomorrow at 2:00pm local time (8:00am EDT).

Open Team
The open team won their semifinal match against Italy 17-6 and, like the girls' team, will face Canada in the gold-medal game. The game is scheduled for 5:00pm local time (11:00am EDT) tomorrow afternoon.
