2014 Westerns Dates and Location Announced

Boulder, Colo. (Dec. 4, 2013) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, announced today the dates and location of the 2014 High School Western Championships.
For a second consecutive year, the 2014 Western Regional Championships will take place at the Crystal Lake Sports Fields in Corvallis, Ore., May 31 – June 1. Westerns will be hosted again by Corvallis Ultimate. The Crystal Lake Sports Complex is located southeast of downtown Corvallis and encompasses 125 acres of multipurpose sports fields buffered on each side by the Kendall Natural Area and on the east by the Willamette River.
"Corvallis Ultimate looks forward to hosting Westerns again," explained Dana Loso, president of Corvallis Ultimate. "Our non-profit's principal mission is supporting youth ultimate. It is an honor to assist in organizing such a culminating event of the best youth teams."
"The 2014 event will be hosted at the Crystal Lakes Sports Fields, an impressive complex adjacent to the Willamette River, surrounded by a beautiful natural buffer of trees," said Brenda VanDevelder, tournament director for the 2014 High School Western Championships. "Players will be treated to amazing playing fields, tasty field food and a warm welcome from the Corvallis Ultimate community. We look forward to seeing you all in June!"
