2014 Triple Crown Tour - Rankings (September 30)

Boulder, Colo. (Sept. 30, 2014) – Today, USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States, released the post-regionals rankings for each of the men's, mixed and women's club divisions. The rankings include all games from sectional and regional events of the 2014 postseason championship series. A minimum of 10 games is required for a team’s inclusion in the rankings.

Each division's national director, alongside USA Ultimate staff, will use the rankings and input gathered from the qualifying teams to determine seedings and schedules for the 2014 National Championships. The final schedule will be announced by next Tuesday, Oct. 7. 

As announced earlier, in addition to impacting Nationals seeding, post-regionals rankings will be used to re-seed teams for Pro-Flight qualification games, which will determine the final spots in the 2015 Pro Flight.  

The National Championships will be held Oct. 16-19, at the F.C. Dallas Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.

The algorithm in use is the Modified Top25 Algorithm adapted from the original Top25 written by USA Ultimate Hall of Famer Sholom Simon.  More information on the bid allocation process is available in the club season guidelines
