2014 Triple Crown Tour - Rankings (August 27)

The sixth set of rankings for the 2014 Triple Crown Tour regular season are now available:

Note: next week's rankings represent the end of the regular season and determine bid allocation for the postseason.  For these rankings, the threshold for inclusion will be 10 games.  Teams should all look at their game results and help check these for their accuracy.  To aid in this, later this week we'll be posting a file with the raw game data as well as a report on teams near the 10 game threshold.  Teams will have until 11:59pm MT this Sunday, August 31 to email ernest@hq.usaultimate.org with any score corrections to review.

If the season were to end today, the following would be the bid allocation for regions to Nationals.

Region Men's Division Mixed Division Women's Division
Great Lakes 2 bids (1 auto, 1 strength) 1 bid (1 auto, 0 strength) 1 bid (1 auto, 0 strength)

Regular-season events this weekend:

The TCT Season Rankings will be run weekly starting in late July on Wednesdays through the end of the season, using data from games between registered club teams at USA Ultimate sanctioned events from June 7 and September 1, 2014.  The algorithm in use is the Modified Top25 Algorithm adapted from the original Top25 written by USA Ultimate Hall of Famer Sholom Simon.  More information on the bid allocation process is available in the club season guidelines
