2013 Select Flight Teams and Tournaments

2013 Select Flight Teams and Inaugural Events Announced
Boulder, Colo. (April 12, 2013) – USA Ultimate is proud to announce the teams that will comprise the Select Flight in the inaugural Triple Crown Tour. So far, seven tournaments have been approved as Select-level events for the 2013 season.
The Select Flight provides opportunities for captains and coaches to choose the events that best fit their teams, setting up a competitive and successful season. The new club structure also still allows teams to play competition above and below the Select level, keeping with the teams themselves the flexibility to design the best season possible. Having a list of tournaments that guarantee quality competition in-hand before the season even starts gives teams a chance to plan their seasons in advance, a key advantage in team preparation, organizational matters and travel arrangements.
Countless strong teams with successful histories have elected to join the 2013 Select Flight. The inaugural season will undoubtedly be full of close games and storied rivalries, combining to create an exciting year for athletes and fans alike.

Select Flight Events
Seven tournaments have been added to the list of approved Select Flight events thus far. Additional events will be added in the near future.
Ultimately, the Select Flight calendar will include a geographically diverse schedule of events, convenient for teams across the country, which will also guarantee the quality competition teams are seeking.
