2012 Junior National Team Coaches
The USA Ultimate Junior National Team Coaches have been selected in preparation for the 2012 WFDF World Junior Ultimate Championships.
Kyle Weisbrod will be debuting as head coach for the 2012 Girls Team. He brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience at a variety of levels. Most notably, he has been head coach of the Paideia High School Girls Varsity team in Atlanta, GA from 2008-2011. A perennial powerhouse, the team has achieved a consistent level of success, including winning the 2008 and 2009 High School Eastern Regional Championships.
Ben Van Heuvelen returns as head coach for the 2012 Boys Team. He began his stint as an assistant coach on the gold medal 2004 and 2006 squads and has seen continued success in 2008 and 2010 as head coach. Both teams captured the World Championship and the 2008 squad additionally won the Spirit Award for the boys division.
Expect more announcements about the application process for the teams this fall and winter.
