2008 YEAR-IN-REVIEW
|
|
As we close the door on 2008, we'd like to take a moment to thank our panel of authors. These people volunteered their time, effort, and intelligence, and The Huddle would not be possible without the contributions of so many top coaches and players.
We hope to be more efficient, productive, and innovative in 2009. We are recruiting and creating a panel for 2009 as we speak, and we hope to start producing new issues for publication in March (there is a pretty significant effort and time investment into producing these issues, and honestly, we need a little bit of a vacation!). In the meantime, we are working on several other special projects that we hope our readers will enjoy.
We want to improve our product as much as we can, and that means reading and using your feedback. Got an idea for an author you'd like to read, or a player you wish would be part of The Huddle? Write us! Have an idea for some new direction? Let us know! Some of our best work has come directly from our reader's suggestions. Email us at: info@the-huddle.org
Thanks again to our authors, and to our readers for their help and support. Our mission statement for 2009 will be ready soon, and hopefully more content will be available quickly thereafter.
In the meantime, especially for our new readers, here are our Top Ten Lists of the best articles from The Huddle in 2008. (These lists were created in "adversarial draft style," and man, was it ever hard to pick just twenty!)
See you in 2009, and Happy New Year
The Huddle Editors, Andy & Ben!
